Hidemax Cycle

How would you re-define a bike? Tinker with it to get greater speed and performance? The curvy Hidemax Cycle is born out of the notion to enhance speed, functionality, looks, comfort, resistance and durability. In short it tries to address all major issues that bog a bicycle designer. Here’s what it’s got: adjustable height achieved by loosening the grip apparatus around the steering wheel. Instead of an up/down axis, the saddle of the bike can be adjusted to left/right through its 2 different joint points. The design includes Twins Shock Absorbers that are placed onto the back of the bicycle so that you can enjoy a bump-free ride!

Whoa..AT&T Opens Network for VoIP Over 3G on iPhone ?!?

Sounds like AT&T told Apple and the FCC that they have taken the steps needed to let Apple enable VoIP apps on the AT&T ’s wireless network. Whats that mean? Well…cheapest possible AT&T voice plan + skype = talk as much as you want over the 3G network.

AT&T EXTENDS VOIP TO 3G NETWORK FOR IPHONEDALLAS, October 6, 2009 – AT&T* today announced it has taken the steps necessary so that Apple can enable VoIP applications on iPhone to run on AT&T’s wireless network. Previously, VoIP applications on iPhone were enabled for Wi-Fi connectivity. For some time, AT&T has offered a variety of other wireless devices that enable VoIP applications on 3G, 2G and Wi-Fi networks. AT&T this afternoon informed Apple Inc. and the FCC of its decision.

In late summer, AT&T said it was taking a fresh look at VoIP capabilities on iPhone for use on AT&T’s 3G network, consistent with its regular review of device features and capabilities to ensure attractive options for consumers.

“iPhone is an innovative device that dramatically changed the game in wireless when it was introduced just two years ago,” said Ralph de la Vega, president and CEO, AT&T Mobility & Consumer Markets. “Today’s decision was made after evaluating our customers’ expectations and use of the device compared to dozens of others we offer.”

AT&T allows customers to download or launch on their wireless devices a multitude of compatible applications directly from any lawful Internet website. Additionally, because AT&T uses GSM technology, the most pervasive and open wireless technology platform in the world, we support customers using any GSM phone that works on AT&T’s frequencies.

Coming Soon: Windows XP Mode for Windows 7

The Windows XP Mode Beta is over and the feedback is in. The final version for Windows 7 should be available at the Microsoft Download Center on October 22nd, just in time for the Windows 7 launch.

Windows XP Mode is aimed to provide small and mid-sized businesses who have upgraded to Windows 7 Professional or higher the ability to run Windows XP productivity applications that may not be fully compatible with Windows 7. Many Windows XP applications are already compatible Windows 7 , and the added security of the new OS can provide businesses to upgrade to Windows 7 without any major worries.

Here is a list of some features they have incorporated into Windows XP Mode based on feedback from users who tested the beta.

You can now attach USB devices to Windows XP Mode applications directly from the Windows 7 task-bar. This means your USB devices, such as printers and flash drives, are available to applications running in Windows XP Mode, without the need to go into full screen mode.
You can now access Windows XP Mode applications with a “jump-list”. Right click on the Windows XP Mode applications from the Windows 7 task bar to select and open most recently used files.
You now have the flexibility of customizing where Windows XP Mode differencing disk files are stored.
You can now disable drive sharing between Windows XP Mode and Windows 7 if you do not need that feature.
The initial setup now includes a new user tutorial about how to use Windows XP Mode.
